Can you get a prescription for birth control?  Then take the pills continuously.

Oh bee! It’s probably stress that has it off balance. Do you track it at all? Is midol the stuff that stops your Period?

i second the birth control idea. If only for that time, at least you wouldnt have your period and all the hassle it comes with.

I second the birth control option. Kinda sucks still but might work. I have had success having my period a little early using heating pads on my stomach and eating papaya. Amazingly.

Have you considered a Depo Provera injection? It’s said to control/eliminate your period while you’re getting the injection (once every 3 months)! And since you just get it done every three months for as long as you want it, you don’t have to worry about forgetting to take a pill every day.

starlight92 :  feel your pain. This happened to me. My cycle completely messed up. I had a super short cycle the month prior to the wedding and then a 40+ day cycle leading up to the wedding. I suffer bloating from about 5 days beforehand as well as pretty bad nausea. I kept praying it would come so that the hormones would at least settle. Sadly, bloated whole way through and it didn’t start till my wedding night. I think stress could contribute. Really sorry, bee! Fingers crossed for you!

Have you tried a menstral cup? It might be easier to manage and not make you feel worse like tampons do (depending on why tampons effect you badly), but you’d definitely want to test it out before your wedding. Good luck!

I was in the middle of my period on my wedding day.  I wore a tampon, a pad, and Thinx underwear- I didn’t want to take any chances.  Turns out my flow was incredibly light that day (stress) and I didn’t even have to use the bathroom until the reception was over (dehydration).

eta: when I selected my wedding date, my period was supposed to be done at least a full week prior to the wedding, but stress/planning messed up the natural order of things.
