Edit: Sorry, just re-read your post and realized you have tried skipping the placebo.

llevinso:  I don’t know any tricks. As far as I know, when it comes it comes. Aside from delaying your honeymoon by a week, I don’t really see what else you can do. But I mean, sex is the only thing your period kind of gets in the way of… “Period sex” may be gross to some, but it’s not all that bad. If you’re open to it, ask your Fiance if he’s open to it too (if so – bring lots of condoms, use some towels). Good luck!

Did it screw things up immediately or the next time you took the placebo?

Maybe only do a 2 wks of the pill next month instead of 3 and start the placebo early? I might be in the same boat but my doc says I can’t even take the pill so I’m kinda screwed. Good luck!

llevinso:  there’s a medication called Norethisterone (or Utovlan by it’s brand name (in the UK at least)) that you can use to delay periods. I’m on it to try & stop spotting but you can basically take it to delay your period by any number of days. Might be worth asking your GP about that?

I can’t say how to delay anything UNLESS you stress. Stress can delay it. Always delayed mine when I didnt want it to lol. I suggest midol for the bloatedness and symptoms, sex in the shower and/or lay some towels down on the bed.
