I have gone a whole month before. It could be stress, if you are cramping it could be possible that it is just around the corner. Don’t worry much about it unless the cramping is really severe, like painful to where you cant move. If you are concerned, schedule an appt with your doctor.

Multivitamins wouldn’t do it, but stress would!

stress will def delay your period so try to relax.  i am very very regular but once i was 5 days late and very stressed. did a home pregnancy test and got a negative, relaxed and within hours my periods started.  i know you said you are not active but stress still messes with your body.

Stress would be my guess too. I have missed many periods due to stress!

I was once 10 weeks between periods.  As long as you know for sure that you’re not pregnant, most doctors won’t do any sort of testing until you’ve missed your period for three months.  Or so my doctor told me when I went then when I went, it was 8 weeks in between).

There are lots of hormone fluctuations caused by stress, diet, and exercise.  I wouldn’t worry yet, especially since you’ve not been sexually active.

I agree with what other bees mentioned.. it’s definitely due to STRESS. When under a huge amount of stress, your cycle could sway shorter or longer or even not come at all. But once the stress is gone, you should see your cycle returning back to normal. If you’re very worried, it’ll be good to put your concerns at ease with your gynae.

I agree that it’s probably just stress.  It could also be that your cycle is longer than usual this month.  I wouldn’t worry about it much.  If it had been 2 or 3 months, I’d say you should give your doctor a call.

ETA: That “wet” feeling you mentioned, for me usually means it’s coming within a day or two.

If you’re not worried about pregnancy, then don’t worry. A lot of things can cause hormonal fluctuation, like stress. It’s very likely no big deal.

Same thing happened to me a couple of months before the wedding… I went to the gyno – she said it was absolutely stress related 🙂 And she told me not to worry about it – If it  didn’t even out before the wedding, it definitely would afterwards.  And the next month, my cycle was back on time 🙂

Sounds like stress and the more you stress about not getting it, the longer it might take to come!

It has to be the stress.  Your wedding is around the corner so we can only imagine how stressed  you are.
