It depends on your post count. The more posts you have, the greener it is (goes by bee levels)

It depends on the “bee status”.  As you post more and more the darker your posts get!

aah i was just thinking about this! earlier i saw a post where the bee only had 2 posts but hers was highlighted grey…what was that?

I think what is more perplexing is that when I clicked on this thread Corgi’s post timer said zero seconds ago.

How can you be zero seconds ago, wouldn’t that be now? haha.
