Pretty, but a smidge bare on top.  Do you know what everyone else is wearing? Is the bride going to be strapless?

I really like it, where did you find it?

Maybe you could find a bolero/shrug/wrap/shawl to wear over it since the ‘maids are going to have straps?

Not to threadjack, but what, pray tell, is a personal attendant, and how did you come by this position?

Express, $60, and they always have coupons. It’s chiffon so a little less form-fitting, but it’s one shoulder. I do like the one you posted, but I’d probably end up wearing a cropped sweater or something, at least to the ceremony.

I like this one from Macy’s for a little more formal feel:

You could watch for a sale or shopping pass type discount. But honestly, for a simple black dress, I’d probably just pay a little more for one that I’ll have a while since it’s so versatile and could serve as a dress for many weddings to come!

@cherrycoke: Oh that’s makes sense. I was thinking like a paid DOC just for the bride or something, like an office assistant — “hey, get me coffee!” or I guess for your wedding day, “hey, get me champagne!” lol
