or i will wait the 6 months until i see my mom and maybe find something then!

Everyone looks amazing!  So much better than how the models look!

OMG, there are some HOT bees in the house!  This thread is making me feel a ton better!  My dress’s model looks anorexic, but I was still kicking myself on not loosing enough weight (got down to about 10/12 but am a DD, which now I’m starting to appreciate on this thread, hahaha)

oh, and these are non-pro pics of course, but I don’t have rights to those yet, and I wanted to crop …  thanks everyone for sharing!

Anyone starting to wonder if the editorial photos look so much worse than the real brides do so that the brides get their “ah-ha” moment?

The difference is striking!

LOVE this thread!!!

I was devestated when I saw the stock photo for my gown…, but I love it on me πŸ™‚ (p.s. I’m taking the flowers off of mine- the one I’m wearing is the sample in the store)

This is such a good idea for a thread.  I think this dress looks weird on someone of a model’s height.  I am soooooo much shorter (my husband is tall so I look even tinier.)!

David’s Bridal style 5268

On the model:

On me.  I’m definitely not as young or thin as the model, but I actually liked the dress far better on me than on the model.

@ Stephmw:  You look flawless in your gown!

I am also looking at this dress (it is in my top 2 – it may be the one if I can ever try it on!) and was wondering if I could ask how tall you are and what your street size is?

You can totally tell me to go jump in a lake, but I wanted to have an idea of what it looks like based on height (I can’t ask the model πŸ™‚ although you would make a better one!) , i.e., where the flare begins on a real body

To be fair, I will disclose that I am 5’7″ (and 3/4!), weigh 135, and I typically wear a street size 6 (sometimes a 4 depending on how dedicated I am in the gym!).
