My dress was $725 in the shop near me but I got it through Netbrides for $575 (+$150 to be converted into a corset).  I shouldn’t need to touch the hem or have it taken in (now that it’s a corset), but I am slightly changing the neckline and then the bustle, so I’m expecting my alterations to be between $200-300-ish?  We budgeted $2000, so I’m way under=)

I got my dress in a tiny store out in Staten Island.  It’s Private Label by G, but a limited edition, hard-to-find dress.  The first time I went there, she quoted me $1700, but when I went back with Mom (thanks Mom!) to buy it, she knocked the price down to $1200 including alterations.  Adding cap sleeves was $200, and with tax, I think it comes out to about $1475.  Not bad, considering Mom was willing to spend up to $4500.  Now I just need a birdcage veil and shoes!!!

My dress is a Watter’s gown and it cost $1800. Thsi was $800 over what I wanted to spend, but I knew that it was THE dress for me and this price includes alterations which is awesome.

Still working on veil, longline bra, shoes etc…

Mine was $800.  Plus $65 for shoes.  $20 for veil.  $80 for alterations.  Slip was free, it was the slip my mom wore on her wedding day.  $4 for pantyhose.  So $969 total.  Which worked out good as I was trying to keep it under $1,000!

My Marisa was something like $3,400. I’m going to get a beaded sash probably from Etsy. Then some sort of veil. Then shoes. Then jewelry. Whatevs. Worth it. I’m not a person who ever spends a lot of money on clothing so i figure I’ve earned this one over the years.

My dress wasnt traditional, it was more of an evening gown. It ended up just under $450 with shipping and alterations. I wore shoes I owned, bought a birdcage veil for $20 and my jewelry was just about $100.

I got my Vera Wang sample online for $1700, a full thousand less than a store was offering for their sample. It retailed for 4,000.

My dress is a Maggie Sottero “Melissa Brooch.” I paid a little over $900 for it. I don’t know the exact dollar amount off the top of my head. I got a 15% discount on it, too.
