This might be a personal question but I was wondering what do you ladies tend to crave right before or during your period? I usually go for chocolate or cheese. I try my best to eat healthy 80% of the time but when I am close to my period my cravings skyrocket and I am constantly hungry like a wolf.
I usually get cravings during the evening hours so for breakfast and lunch I try to have healthy meals but then after 4:00 PM or so, I snack on skinny cow chocolate pouches until I am on a sugar high. Other times I wish I worked at a pizza place. I can literally imagine myself rolling on a counter full of pizza

I used to crave salt and sweets until I started eating low carb. Once I got all the sugar cravings out and it regulated my hormones, I don’t have cravings at all anymore and PMS is almost non-existant now.

Chocolate! Only during period and whenever I actually indulge it gives me the worst cramps. It’s a vicious cycle but I never learn my lesson! Lol

ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING SWEET. NUMBER 1 BEING CHOCOLATE BUT NOT PLAIN CHOCOLATE, IT HAS TO BE IN SOME FORM OF “CANDY” LIKE TWIX BARS OR M&M’S

OmbreBee: I always, without fail, crave meat (like a 16oz burger or 12oz steak – Haha). Just once though during PMS/my cycle & I’m good. Could be because of anemia. Besides that one craving during that time, I’m good with sticking to my normal healthy diet. But boy do I become a carnivore and want a giant slab of meat!

I love spicy food but I also really crave some amazing milk chocolate from the dollar store 3 blocks from my home. Isn’t that conveinent!?

I always crave chocolate, but I give myself a big excuss to eat it and not feel so bad about it during AF.

OmbreBee: It is funny you mention that you go for chocolate and cheese – those are my things. My local pizza shop gets multiple calls from me during my period week as they serve a garlic/cheese pizza and a chocolate cake slice to DIE FOR!
During my period I could basically eat a small pizza like that every single day with a side of chocolate… it really doesn’t help with my new diet!

I want sweets and cheesey carbo loaded stuff right before my period. Once my period hits I want meat. I could seriously eat a steak for every meal the first day of my period. And salt too. Soooooo much salt. I once ate a cheeseburger on a salt bagel when I had my period.
