Is a personal shower like a lingerie shower? I’ve never heard of one!

I’m having a lingerie shower as well as a regular shower (different regions of the state/different sides of the family). It wasn’t my idea but my aunt wanted to do it, so why not. I’m excited! My family is totally inappropriate so I’m sure it will be both embarrassing and lots of fun.

Took me a minute to figure out what that meant! I didn’t have one myself but I would bring those items to a shower without issue if that was the intent, and theme and what was communicated about the shower. I’d never bring them to a regular shower. I learned that lesson awhile ago LOL

My aunt REALLY wanted to throw one for me.  To the extent that she asked if I would like one, I said no, and then she told my mom she was going to make it a personal shower afterwards anyway.  My mom explained to her that I would blush the entire time and it’s really not my thing, thankfully.  I can see how it could be fun with people closer to my age, but with my aunt, mom, ladies from my mom’s church and work that I hardly know, and who knows who else…  I’d be a little concerned about what I’d end up with…  Not that Fiance would mind if I did have one, I’m sure!

It’s not right for me, but I hope yours is awesome!

The personal shower I was invited to was NOT lingerie. Though the bride got $250 in Vicky’s Secret cards.
