My Best friend is getting married and i want to give her a personal gift. I decided to make a little scrapbook with pictures and other stuff like some sand from the beach they are getting married at and sea shells and i was hoping to get her family to write some personal notes as they wont be there themselves. Does anyone have any ideas how to go about it?
I was also thinking about getting the bride and the groom to write his and her side of the story on how they met and stuff!? Good idea? What kind of questions could i ask them?
I would appreciate any answers. Thanks You

@squishy_belle: That’s a really sweet idea! My question is, how big of a surprise do you want it to be? If you really want it to be a surprise, you could leave a space in the scrapbook for them to add their stories after they receive their gift.
What I would do for family members is get an address list from people. I would mail out a note to their family members and include paper/cards/etc., for them to write their wishes. I would also include a self-addressed stamped envelope, with hopes that it will make it more likely for them to return it. What I’ve found is the easier, the better!
You could have people e-mail you their thoughts, but I know the handwritten aspect is really personal.
Above all, make sure that they know that this is a surprise for the bride and groom, and they will receive the scrapbook after their wedding. This way, nobody accidentally ruins the surprise.
