It depends. If you check out Home Depot they have the right hangers for cheap. also how well do you work with wire? you can get that at home Depot in electrical. I am not backing up home depot only, any home improvement store should have these things. I am a home depot shopper so i reference them.

My sister was able to bend the wire pretty well. she isnt really stong. Just keep in mind you only have 4 weeks left and you may not have the time to take on an additional project but this is up to

I got a hanger from einspanner on etsy and he allows you to RUSH your order for free if you decide to purchase from etsy. I got my hanger like 6 days after I ordered it (no rush) and it was only like 30 dollars or so.

@Jen6813:  I made mine myself and I am not crafty at all. I live in NZ and the hangers on etsy were going to be like $40 to post. I needed 5 so I got 2 packs of 3 hangers without the pants bar from a homeware store for about $4.99 each and the wire was about $8. I had my fiance drill holes in the hanger where the wire was going to be. I found a few videos on youtube and just started trying. I had to make quiet a few to get it right and make sure I had the right size. I was really happy with how they turned out. Heres the link to our wedding photos (i cant copy them and dont have them on disk yet).

I actually purchased some from etsy for 5 bucks a pop! Creationsbytilly was the shop I got them from. I ended up paying more for the actual shipping than the order itself. When all was said and done, I ended up paying $41.95 for mine, my moh, bm, mob, and mog. It did take about a month and a half to receive them but they seem high quality and I am happy with the purchase! I am a DIY gal but I know when I am in over my head 😉

@Jen6813:  I DIYed mine. I bought the wire from the floral section at Michael’s. I just googled personalized wire hangers and looked at the pictures as I did it. It was surprisingly easier than expected. I messed up a couple times so make sure to get enough wire for second tries. Just go slow and be patient!

I also DIY’d mines and it’s complete. I’ve added glitter to my name. Takes a little more effort with applying the glitter, but I’m happy with the outcome. I’m still in the process of creating my bridesmaids, I’ve added fabric to it. The fun thing is, if you make it yourself you can do whatever you want to it. You do need patience cause it takes several trials til’ you get the hang of bending the wire. I purchased a 14 gauge galvanized steel wire 100 ft for only $7 and purchased a set of 3 pliers for $5 at Home Depot. I didn’t use gloves, but they reccomend it cause your fingers can get a little sore from bending the wire. If you have the patience and like to try things and want to save money, then go for it. But if you think it just might be too much work, then I would just purchase them. Good luck!!! Wink
