I bought one for myself because I dont want a picture of my dress hanging on a random wire or plastic hanger, but for my BM’s I am not going to get them one, I know it would end up at the back of their closets.

@wisher558:  I dont think I will be much help her, I have been wondering the same things. I think I am going to go to the store and buy a pack of nice wood hangers and personalize each of them for the girls and myself. I love the metal ones on Etsy but they have been like 10-20 each and that adds up.

I got myself a personalized hanger that read “Mrs. new last name”. Which everyone thought was pretty cool. When I ordered mine, my Maid/Matron of Honor and BMs mentioned how awesome it was. So, as part of their gift I also got them one. We got cute pics on the wedding day with them, but they also really wanted them for themselves, so it worked out fantastic.

If anything, at least get one for yourself. It is one of my favorite photos from the wedding that I have seen so far.

If you do it for your Bridesmaid or Best Man and Maid/Matron of Honor, consider it having their real name on it instead of “Maid of Honor” or “Bridesmaid”.

I bought these on Etsy and they look so great. I’m going to add some ribbon or something for the day of. If I were a Bridesmaid or Best Man who received one of these, I would probably keep my Bridesmaid or Best Man dress on it.

I purchased the $5 personalized hangers from that seller on etsy.  I really liked them. High quality, very nice.

$5 a hanger isn’t bad, with shipping it’s still under $50 for 5!

I got my personalized wire hanger from the wedding hanger shop for $24 and i got to choose my coloured wire and everything to match our wedding. Heres the link to the one i got.

I then DIY my girls hangers for the day which worked out to be around $10 for all 3 of them, roughly $3 which is a bargain. Heres a pic

@wisher558:  I bought wood hangers – I got them on sale at Walgreens – ten of them for 7 bucks. They all match – they will work if we get a pick of all the dresses – but I wasnt paying 20 a hanger for those… No. Way.
