we use weddingwindow.  paid about $100 which included our own domain name.  love it and has been great for helping gather addresses, etc.  also the layouts are VERY easy to use and not fussy at all.  we’ve gotten lots of compliments on it and even ppl who we didn’t think would go on it (ie. my parents’ friends) have….  it’s been a useful tool for every one of our guests.

we used eweddings.com and it was free.  we sent the link with our save the dates and we only got 45 hits on the site.  from what i’ve read in other blogs the website is not nearly as helpful/needed as some may think.  people may come to it once if they they are curious but hardly again.  if you have the time and/or finances/interest to create one then definitely go for it – there are some guests that rely on the sites for intructions, maps, etc.  good luck!

We use Wedquarters, which is cheaper than a lot of the other options ($30/year) and is very user friendly.  We’ve gotten lots of hits and compliments on it from family and friends.

we searched for a long time and also decided on wedding window. they have great layouts and it is super easy to use!  the fees are very reasonable too, considering the quality of website you will get!  they also have great tech support and service available…i had a question once and someone replied in an hour!

we ended up using wedquarters & buying our own domain name. for $30 + $15 for our own name, it is cheaper or comparable to most (besides the free of course)  & we have gotten tons of compliments. we sent 80 save the dates & got over 170 hits already. (and my parents don’t even use the internet so I know it’s not them.) it’s very easy to customize, too.  the ONLY negative thing: the size limit for a song is soooooooo low. i had the perfect song uploaded on a trial site from another company & assumed it would upload on our wedquarters site, but in reality I had to lower the quality so much in order to upload it, that it is borderline grating- we are considering taking it off altogether.

I use http://www.wedshare.com and it was $70 for the full year (12 months from the time you sign up) and it’s totally worth it, especially the budgeting stuff that comes with it.

I love it, highly suggest it.

I used googlepages.  You have to have a gmail account, but it’s totally free and really easy.  You should just check it out before you decide to pay for anything 🙂

Is anyone using their website for guests to rsvp?  We are considering doing this to save money on the postage, but I’m not sure how guests will react.  Any ideas?

CatieB, do you have a link for your gsite?  I’d love to see what can be created through Google.  I am a huge fan.

Morans–we’re giving guests the option to RSVP online but also including the normal envelopes.  A friend got married in Nov and only had online RSVP (it was printed on the invite) and she said like NOBODY RSVPd….she said maybe 10%…everyone else she had to call. I just don’t think we’re "there yet" as far as people being curteous enough to RSVP to begin with and also knowing how to do it online.

We’re also using Wedding Window and it has been AMAZING.

They also have an RSVP feature on there if anyone is wondering. I did quite a lot of research and this is totally worth it.
