Although my wedding isn’t wine themed, wine is a love of my Fiance and I, and so it’s definitely incorporated.  Here are two cheap, very personal ideas.  We have been saving wine corks for a long time.  We will cut a slit in each one, and they will hold our placecards.  Each guest’s name will be held by a cork from a bottle of wine we drank!  You could also use these corks for table numbers or other signs.  We have also been saving the empty bottles of good wines we’ve had.  Each table, will have a different bottle in the middle and will be "numbered" by the kind of wine.  So you might be sitting at the "Oberon" table, etc.  We purchased candle holders that sit in the wine bottles, but you could also just fill each bottle with a few flowers.  Another fun idea would be to buy a few good bottles of wine and use them as the guest book.  Have guests sign with silver and gold paint markers.  Save the wine for a special anniversay to enjoy or display in your home!  Hopefully, this gets you started at least…

We incorporated our favorite wine into the centerpiece.  I also contacted the vineyard that produced the wine to see if they would put our names and wedding date on the label and they agreed.  We had our DJ give away the centerpieces at the end of the night.

Hi there!  I’m having a winery wedding too!  I’m not a big fan of the "wine" theme, but I do think its neat to keep some sort of "theme" rolling throughout the wedding.

Both my entrees are being cooked with either a white or red wine reduction.  In lieu of escort "cards", I’m doing personalized wine charms with the guests name and table tied to a wineglass that will help them find their table.  you could also do your table numbers on wine bottles, simply print numbers out on nice cardstock and adhere them over a wine bottle label.

Keeping it classy is my main concern!  Limiting your "winery theme" to one or two wine themed "accents" would be really classy, simple and cute!
