Yes!! It’s one of my favorite Stephen King books. It definitely gave me the creeps! I’d love to see the movie but I’m a bit of a baby when it comes to horror movies.

Nope nope nope. Horror movies are not for this girl. I turn it or close my eyes when just a preview comes on for something like that.

I’ve been a fan of Stephen King for ever.  Read the book in my teens and found it quite scary.  Was my second from him…It was the first, I believe.  Also saw part 1 and 2…part 2 was when I fell in love with Edward Furlong LOL

I’ve yet to see the newer version but plan to.  King tells a mean ghost story!!

lauralaura123 :  have you listened to IT read by Stephen Weber?? It’s another SK novel that’s intensified by the audio performance. I’ve been contemplating downloading Pet Semetary, so thanks for the plug so I know it’s actjally worth it! I’m gonna get it now!

I read the book when it came out; I loved Stephen King as a kid. I saw the first movie, but found it very disturbing. There are some stories that are better left in books.

Yes! I’ve been a Stephen King fan for about 15 years. Pet Semetary definitely left a mark when I read it. I have a copy to my Brother-In-Law who is also a King fan and he couldn’t finish it.  IIRC I believe Stephen King himself calls it his scariest work, and he wasn’t even sure if he should publish it, mostly due to the subject matter.  I haven’t seen the movie yet and probably won’t until it’s out of theaters just because I’m cheap lol.

Saw it yesterday.  I’ve seen the originals too.  Haven’t read the book.

I was pleasantly suprised.  I expected the movie to be a lot worse, how do you even remake such a great film.  But I think it was more or less done well.  If only, just a little more of “this,” and a little less of “that,” and it would have been great!  Still good though 🙂
