I’m so sorry that happened to you!  Darling Husband and I looked into Pete after admiring his work at a bridal show but once we saw the reviews on Wedding Wire we decided against it.  It is so rare to even see a single negative review on there – the fact that he had multiple negative reviews with a recurring theme made him an absolute no go for us.  When I was walking through our venue before our wedding I saw him there with a bridal party and I felt a little bad for the bride 🙁  I hope you end up with an awesome album after all of this!

@lmaray00:  I definitely did. He seemed so charming at the bridal show where I met him. I then read the BBB complaints about him and things on here about him and I was surprised!

Another “me too” post, but we unfortunately did not have a great experience with Pete…we never had any experience at all!  I am seriously hoping he is OK because he has been compeltely unreachable for the last 1.5 months! We met up with him in November and told him we would like to move forward the very next day.  I reviewed the contract and found several typos (including some that changed the meaning, e.g. “dose” for “does”).  I am an attorney and happen to practice in the copyright/trademark field, and asked him if I could fix up the contract.  I told him what changes I would like to make (99% stylistic – I am not going to give unsolicited legal advice), to which he agreed.

I sent him a revised version of the contract for his approval on November 8, 2012…and that’s been it! I have never heard back from it, despite multiple phone calls and e-mails from both myself and my fiance.

I have never dealt with someone like this before, and i hope to never again. I had heard he had a lot of issues getting photography on time, but we took a chance (or at least tried to) because the contract guaranteed photographs within 90 days of our wedding.  It sounds like he has got some other issues going on – literally, I felt like we were stalking him to pay him.  He is a brilliant photographer, but unfortunately we had no choice but to hire someone else!

@lmaray00:  I wonder if he’s going to be at the Bridal Expo this weekend? Might be worth checking who the vendors are- you might be able to confront him in person. (He was at the one last year)

If you’re looking for a great photographer, Pete is your man! Pete did our wedding photos for our vineyard wedding.  we were so amazed at the results.  He took sooo many pictures and we had such a tough time narrowing them down.  They were all so good!  Pete has a talent for capturing emotions in his photos unlike many “portrait” style photographers out there.  He is truly talented and knows what he’s doing.  Not only is he a great photographer, he also integrates himself into the experience. So many of our guests commented on how sociable and personable he was.  Pete was well worth the price and time to get photos that are works of art! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone!!!!
