Hi there you lovely ladies!
I am very petite (short) and when I drive I have to pull my seat right up to the wheel to reach the pedals-
Im 4 months pregnant now, Im not going to be able to reach the pedals when I have a massive bump!!
Any other ladies experience this??

I worried I would have that problem too. I am about 5’2, and I sat right next to the wheel. I even remember telling my coworker how worried I was that I wouldn’t be able to drive. I just started moving the seat back ever so slightly to get used to not being right against the wheel. FWIW, I made it through the nine months with no problems.

I’m 5’2 and 5 mos pregnant and have a bigish belly already…no problems with the steering wheel yet. I plan to just recline my seat more if I have an issue!

I am only 5’1″ and pull my seat all the way forward. I just moved the steering wheel up one notch and had no issues driving or reaching the pedals because I didn’t have to move my seat back.

I’m petite too, (5’2’’) but I’m not real worried about this because I sit a good ten inches away from my wheel…I try to never sit too close because I wouldn’t want to basically get punched straight in the face by my airbag if it deployed.

I’m 5’1″ and I have short arms, so I sit very close to the steering wheel. My husband found these pedal extensions I could have used, but I didn’t need them. My belly never got so big I couldn’t reach. 🙂

I am so jealous… I always wished I was short!!! I am 5’7 (and a half) and now that I have a baby bump I just feel like a big beast!

I am 5’1″ and so far (28 weeks) no problems. But I am very nervous about this too!!!

I have really short legs, so I’ve always had the seat all the way up. I’m at 39 weeks and it’s not terribly comfortable, but the biggest problem is actually getting in and out of the car. Just try to remember (I always seem to forget) to push the seat back before you try getting out!

I’m not 5’0 yet, and I’m not pregnant yet, either, but… Wow, I had never thought about this. Hm… I would think raising the steering wheel might help.
….or maybe wear giant platforms to drive 🙂

I’m 5’4″, and I have short legs with a long torso, so my seat is always waaaay up in my car. I’m 40 wks 2 days right now and I haven’t had to make any changes to my seat.
Getting in and out of the car is a whole other story though 😉

I am a short girl myself, and the biggest problem I had was finding maternity pants that actually fit me. It seems difficult to find stores that sell petite sizes for maternity pants. I ended up buying “regular length” maternity pants and having to hem them all. On a positive note I’m now an expert at hemming jeans without making them look like they’ve been hemmed.
