Ok I’ve posted mine like, 5 times today because yesterday I got to try it on after the first round of alterations….

But since you asked…. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m5’2″ and a little bit, and I have a BIG tulle ballgown:

Both of these pictures are pre-alterations… and I’m having a huge, long, sparkly veil too!! The picture below shows the fabric for the bodice better, and the veil is the same material:

I put that one in (I was trying to see the back detail) because I think it shows me off to the side kind of well. It’s certainly a big ole dress, but I don’t think it swallows me up! I’m wearing a crinoline in this last pictue as well, so that’s about how full the skirt will stay.

@Sunnyday278:  omg that’s a gorgeous dress!

I’m 5’3″, don’t have a dress yet. I’m also a curvy hourglass (137 lbs).

@kaylee26:  Thank you! That’s about what I weigh too! I’m carrying most of that in my thighs right now. I am hoping to get back down to 130-125 (125 is probably a little ambitious lol. And I don’t exactly want to loose my curves) The top part is a liiiiittttllleee bit tight on me, but I’m hoping to get my stomach a little toned before summer. Mostly though, I gained weight in my hips/thighs and that’s where I want to lose weight/inches. And fortunately the dress won’t be very effected if I lose weight there.

I’m 5’3″. This is my dress (pre-alterations). They’re going to have to shorten it for me and change where the flare begins because its below my knees right now. It also needs to be taken in on the sides. This dress actually makes me look taller ๐Ÿ™‚

@kaylee26:  That was a nice thing to say, it made me smile ๐Ÿ˜€ Thank you! Although I would joke that the dress is pushing it in and hiding it under many layers of tulle hahaha. I mostly just want to tone up, to me weight is SUCH a subjective number. The same weight on the same height person is always distributed a little differently.

I’m 5′ 2-3/4″, so I just barely fit here! I’m a mermaid bride and my groom is 6’1″. I’ll be wearing big ol heels on the day!
