@tuesdaychild: Your dress is GORGEOUS!! LOVE the lace overlap, the whole thing is so very beautiful!

I am 5’2″ and wore 3 inch heels. Here is my dress at a fitting and I believe it was called a chapel length train, but still, long for me! :

And here it is on my wedding day:

Down the aisle:

I don’t think it has as much to do with your height as much as it has to do with proportions of the dress design on you. So, I say go for it! 🙂

I don’t have the best picture of my train but it’s chapel length. I’m 5ft and will be wearing 2 pair of shoes on the day of the wedding (one white–3 1/4 in heels– and one pop of color–4 1/4 in heels). I’m wearing the white heels in the pic:

Petite brides can totally rock the train!

5’3″ no shoes in this pic, just standing on my tip toes.

Chapel length, but looks longer than some other chapels I’ve seen (possibly on taller brides!).

@tuesdaychild:  Well, I’m a little taller than you are by 5 inches but we’re the same weight so I figured I’d post my long train. 🙂

To the OP – I think it looks like you are swimming in that train. How much would it be to shorten it a little?

I’m 5’0″ (and a 1/2″, lol). My dress has a small train. This was longer than I thought I wanted, but compared to all of your pics it seems small. I’m on the pedestal in this pic, but no shoes on.

@tuesdaychild: Nope, the train is the same on the wedding day itself. I suppose it is just the camera angle that makes it appear shorter. I don’t know the exact train length offhand though I believe it was a standard chapel length. It was an Anjolique/Benjamin Roberts 2211 if you’d like to look up the specs.

I’m the same size as you, OP! I wore 5 inch heels on the day.
