I’m petite – 5’0″, but with big boobs (32D).  My dress is Allure 2302.

This is me and my dress at my first fitting yesterday.  Even though I ordered the dress in my length, it was too long, so I’m pinned at the bust.  I also forgot to take a picture before I unzipped my dress, so I’m just holding the back together.  I love my dress!!

I wore Maggie Sottero Ella Marie.  I am 5’2” and about 106 lbs.  It took me foreverrrr to find a dress that I loved on my body.  I thought at first I wanted more of a pricess dress but I knew it would overwhelm me and of course it did.  I knew this dress and shape were just right for me as soon as I put it on! Then they said they weren’t sure if I could get the dress since they could not alter/cut anything off the bottom (it’s scalloped lace).  After a call to the manufacturer they were able to shorten the dress for me (by 4 or 5 inches I forget) and I still had to wear 4 inch heels. I added a crinoline under the skirt so I could still have a little poof with the dress.

I’m *almost* 5’0, and I love my dress! I’ll wear it a little less poofy, but still poofy enough to be a cupcake (people say brides in ball gowns tend to look like wedding cakes, but I’m too short to be a whole cake, so I’m just a cupcake!)

I purchased a few wedding gowns to play around what looks better on my body type. I bought a ball gown style & a mermaid style. To me, I actually love both!! But I have finally made a decision to go with a ball gown for the ceremony & possibly changed into more like a mermaid style dress for reception. Here are some photos of the dresses..

I am 5’2 and 106 lbs. Please ladies, tell what you think. 🙂 Oh also, I do design a few dresses. I usually like to play around with differnt types of styles of dresses. You can find size 2 wedding gowns here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/fallenshimmers?ref=si_shop for awesome prices!!

and watch our youtube video on the wedding gowns!!

Good luck!! 🙂

I am 5’3″, 98lbs, size 0 and made this vintage lace tulle gown work on my petite frame. This will go with my vintage romance themed spring wedding.

This is a pic of me in my 1st fitting in size 0.  it will need to be taken in towards the back to make it a tighter fit.

I’m pretty small, 5’1” and about 92 lbs. I’m wearing a size 2 Casablanca 1914! The bust needs to be taken in quite a bit and I’m wearing 3” heels under the dress. I love my dress!!
