I’m 5’3″ and have a very short torso with ample boobage and a muscular upper half. Believe it or not I ended up in a mermaid thanks to my amazing consultant. I never in a million years thought that style would suit my figure, but it rocked my curves. Anything where the skirt fell from my natural waist just made me look shorter and like a kid playing dress-up.

I know what you mean! I’m 5’1 but with plenty of a** and boobs to spare! And the funny part is that the a** and boobs just started forming this year lol. I hated trying on dresses because few things look right on petite figures. I ended up falling in love with a dress that had a slit because it shows my legs! I hated big poofy ballgowns since it made me look like the fabric was eating me whole. Try to find empire waist dresses or something that can show you have legs. Also, look for corset backs – I think that helps show off your figure better.
