I have the trio cathedral from blue Nile and it doesn’t get caught on anything. I love my setting. As a side note, I took in my ring for an independent appraisal and she made the comment that the ring is very well made.

thepsampler:  I have the cathedral pave setting from Blue Nile and I don’t have any issues with it snagging on things. As for keeping it clean, I find it pretty easy because I can see the sides of the diamond so when it’s dirty I can see the dirt. I just take a soft baby toothbrush and get into the crevices of the setting and it sparkles beautifully again 🙂

I have no issues with snagging or keeping my ring clean, however I don’t keep my ring on when I’m being “active”.  Day to day, your ring will be fine as long as you use common sense with it.

I have almost that exact ring from Blue Nile (mine is custom based on that one), and other than sometimes fuzzies from a fuzzy blanket getting caught in a prong, it’s been no problem so far!

I’m also very careless and clumsy, but I hiked a mountain in this thing and it held up like a champ!

If you go with that ring, what wedding band are you thinking? I’m trying to decide!
