@lucygirl1:  OH yes, for as sad as he is IN the bath, he sure does seem happy to be clean afterwards! He does zoomies all over the house! He’s 90lbs, big like yours, so you have to watch out, he’ll take you out at the knees if you’re not paying attention.

ETA: Is she a newfoundland? I love them! She looks so 80’s!

They love bath time! Especially being rubbed down with a sofe, clean towel (then going for a walk around the block to help air-dry their crazy fluffy fur).

These are soooo cute! I will never understand why dogs love running under sprinklers, attacking the hose, running in to the beach/rivers/dams like it’s the best day ever, but act like it’s the end of the world when it’s bath time!

SO and I gave a dog we were babysitting a bath because he STANK. He didn’t love it, then as soon as he was free, he spent a good half hour trying to get dirty again, haha!

Awww I love this thread!  Here is a pic of our dog after a bath.  I think she was 3 months old in this pic.

@Billsgirl:  thats a good question! =)

We rescued him this past summer, they thought he may be a mix of husky, shepherd & possibly sharpei ?

He’s a sweetheart cuddle bug, thats all I know!

Poor Charlotte HATED her first bath. I felt like such a monster, because she ran to her Daddy’s arms in the towel and stared at me like I was abusive as soon as she was done. This is about 9 or 10 weeks.

trying to make her escape:

She’s much better now that she’s 10 months and loves to play in the water when we take a shower.

@Miss Mauverick:  omg you can shower them both at the same time?? I tried this one time but as soon as I started scrubbing one the other would try to escape! I needed to call in reinforcement (dh).

@kate02121:  lol awwww! She looks so traumatized In the last pic!

Don’t have any bath time pics on this phone, but my doggies need a shower so will share tomorrow. πŸ˜€

This is one of my favorite pictures. This was when Tula was about 2 months old …she is now almost two and I don’t have any current bath pictures. Whoops
