I agree that mason jars are not vintage. Cute but not vintage. What era of vintage are you going for?

I think mason jars are just as overdone as pew bows, in my opinion.  Sorry!

I personally think ceremony/ pew decorations are a complete waste of money. No one reallly notices.

I’d invest more into centerpieces or some really nice, eye-catching flower arrangements at the beginning and end of the aisle.

I like pomanders every other row. You can get real flower ones or order fabric ones or make paper ones. Sometimes, they hang and other times, they are affixed to stick out from the outside top of the pew.

I do not like the bows. They feel very 80s/90s to me.

I like th idea of pictures at the end of the pews.  It can either be family or pictures of the two of you.  Also I think black and white pictures would be super cute. 🙂

What about flower cones?  These are bit more rustic looking, but depending on what they were made of, they could look very vintage. You wouldn’t necessarily have to use flowers either… you could just use some greenery.

It’s a cute idea, but I actually don’t think people would see the photos, ya know?? I’d put those photos on a table behind the back row or on the cake table.

All that work for guests not to notice!!
