I really like snickerdoodles. Also if your looking for something interesting and less traditional lemon ginger mint cookies are amazing. They have candied ginger and fresh mint. Sadly I don’t have the recipie any more because I am now gluten and dairy free but I would recommend looking on Pinterest for ideas and recipes.

If there are traditional recipes for a cookie table, my partner has never heard of them. At his cousin’s wedding last summer, people brought all sorts of cookies – as far as I understand you’re not expected to make them all yourself! My partner’s mom even flew with cookies to bring to his cousin’s wedding. Contact your family and ask them to please bring one plate to share, so you don’t have to do it all yourself.

I did find the lemon ginger mint cookie recipe! I also included a recipie for snickerdoodles which is more common so much easier to find another recipie of. Also the lemon cookies I have received many many compliments on and are very fresh tasting. Would be really great for a spring or summer wedding. And the spice of the snickerdoodle would be great for fall or winter.

My family is all from Pittsburgh, but we live in Texas now. I just got married on April 7 and had a huge cookie table! We had all the usuals, snickerdoodles, chocolate chip, peanut butter blossoms, but cookies, Italian wedding cookies (they look like Crescent moons) and Pizezells! My aunts in pgh mailed me cookies for 2 weeks. Good luck!
