Any Philly bees hear about this?
“An anesthesiology professor called it “reprehensible” that an abortion provider, Dr. Kermit Gosnell, medicated women based on their ability to pay, as alleged at the doctor’s murder trial.” link
Basically you got to pick the heavy sedation or the light sedation based on how poor you were. One of the patients was given enough drugs to put her in a coma and passed away. hence the murder charges.
Philly city officials didn’t inspect this guy’s clinic for more than a decade!!!! When they finally got off their duffs the cops found fetal bodies in the lunchroom refrigerator and dirt and filth everywhere.
He also did abortions past 24 weeks (including one at 30 weeks according to the prosecutor). His employees have testified about pregnancies being terminated, then the fetus is removed from the mother and they see it moving on the table. Dr Gosnell would come by and snip the baby’s neck. In other cases his employees were forced to do the snipping. Hence more murder charges.
I saw the grand jury report and I can’t believe this isn’t bigger news. This guy is a monster. When doing terminations he would joke “this baby is big enough to walk me around the block!” and comments like that.
Oh and the state was supposed to be doing inspections to and dropped the ball for a good 10 years as well. Why isn’t the media coming down on this like a ton of bricks? Dollar to donuts he got away with this for so long because he ran his medical office in the inner city and the authorities just didn’t give that much of a damn.

@Magdalena I read/heard about this. It is horrifying that a monster like this exists.

I haven’t heard about this! This sounds like a really sick person. It wouldn’t surprise me if he was a serial killer getting his fix this way.

Reading that made me feel sick. People like that have a special place in Hell.

I remember reading the horrific details of this case in some court document at the time he was arrested. LOTS of levels to be disturbed about this whole thing. I’d lost track of the situation, and am curious as to the outcome.

Seriously. I’m pro-choice and would absolutely have an abortion if the situation arose, but…ugh…I can’t even.

More testimony today:
“It wasn’t fully developed,” West told the Common Pleas Court jury, referring to the 18- to 24-inch-long newborn in the pan. It didn’t have eyes or a mouth but it was like screeching, making this noise. It was weird. It sounded like a little alien.”
Questioned by Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore, West, 53, said she did not know what happened to the “specimen” – the term she said she used because “it was easier to deal with mentally.”
Philly Inquirer has more of the story here.

It’s hard to grasp things that horrific. It’s also a shame the MSM won’t cover the story.

Wow just wow! I guess the media is too busy reporting Justin Bieber’s new haircut.

Yes I have, though, I am also from the area and am not sure of the national coverage it is recieving.
I was disgusted the first time they announced this investigation a couple years ago, though.

That guy is sooo sick. omg.
But I’m not surprised the MSM isn’t covering it. They know they’re incompetent and will bungle the story, unintentionally giving the “pro-life” extremists ammo to ban abortions for everyone. They’ll never believe that not all abortion doctors are like this guy, because they already think that.
