MrsSapphire :  I planned my best friend’s bachelorette in Philly!  We did not go out (she didn’t want to) so I can’t help with that, but we went to Pole Haus for pole dancing lessons and had a blast!  We stayed at the Windsor Suites, which was awesome and pretty reasonable (we had 3-4 girls in each room).  We were able to walk everywhere we went.  You’ll have a great time!  We went in early April and it was pretty gorgeous out.  March is tough; hopefully you’ll get a good weekend!

I can’t help you much in terms of clubs and stuff but if you want to throw in a fun activity somewhere, have you heard of “Escape the Room”? Philly has a bunch I’ve been to, one is called “Escape the 1980’s” and can accomodate 14 people. Others are for 10.

I think you could find a lot of fun clubs in the Gayborhood! I just went to my FSIL’s bachelorette last Saturday. The plan was to do the dry bar and manis and then get wild at night but it was pouring so we tamed the night dramatically.

If you’re looking for an epic, wild night out, I would potentially reconsider the location if I were you.

I live about 20 minutes away from Philly, and lived in the actual city for over two years. I like to call Philadelphia “Nowhere Special, USA”. It’s like…vanilla ice cream. It’s fine. Kinda cool, I guess. A couple cool things to see. Not especially terrible but not very memorable either. Meh.

A ton of people around here do Howl At The Moon for their bachelorette. It’s a very popular club with dueling pianos where very talented people get up and do covers of all sorts of songs, with a background band jamming behind them. Everytime I’ve gone there’s at least three bachelorette parties going on. The MC pulls the bride on stage, let’s her and her friends dance up there and yell WOOO into the microphone, and then it’s on to the next bride. If you call a couple days beforehand and say you’ll be there for your bachelorette with out of town friends you want to show a good time, they’ll put you on “the list” and you can skip the line at the front door.

As far as male revue, there’s only one I know of, and that’s ‘Upstairs at Club Risque’. Would not recommend. It’s in a very shady, seedy part of town and I’ve known two girls who’ve gone. Both said the male strippers weren’t really interested in performing and we’re only interested on trying to have sex with the ladies in their parties. Sitting around flirting, playing with their phones, touching them excessively, etc.

If you’re around the PA/NJ area I would maybe recommend Hoboken, NJ over Philly. There’s tons of wild clubs and bars there, plus it’s literally across the river from NYC. Maybe you can do a ferry to the city for a really amazing dinner and club and then come back to a Hoboken bar for an after party and brunch the next day.
