Ok, so i just got engaged (yippee!) and we are getting married may 2011 at my fiances farm in chester county. Why in God’s name can’t i find an off-premises caterer that charges less than $70 per person for an outdoor buffet wedding??! It’s so frustrating! Any suggestions? Please help!!! I’m open to anything!

What about getting drop off catering services from your favorite restaurant, and hiring some university students or aquaintances to serve?

I’m just afraid if i do that i will definitely be too stressed worrying about if the job is getting done right, you know? I definitely want professionals…

I had a party at my house in April in Plymouth Meeting and used Blackfish Restaurant – actually the catering company is called Charles Roman Catering. We had passed appetizers and then a buffet dinner (completely amazing food…) and it was $35 pp. They came to my house, made all the food right there, cleaned up – and we had 75 people at our house. The only reason we’re not having our reception at the restaurant is that they want a ton of $ to close the restaurant for the night and the restaurant is way too small for the number of people we are having. I highly recommend them.
