I think that’s a great list and your guests will have plenty of Philly goodness!  I can’t think of anything else…. you have a lot covered 🙂

Unless maybe you wanted to add a fun little map of the best places in the area to get cheese steaks?  That could be fun.

What about something related to the history of Valley Forge?  Or a gift certificate to Pat’s or Geno’s for guests to go and get a authentic cheesesteak?

Just thoughts…

morning ladies- any suggestions for phillly inspired "containers"/"bags"?

also- soft pretzel question- how long do they last- just a day or so, right?  ie- we can’t put them in weeks in advance.  any insight on online soft pretzel retailer?

Meggles you could try superpretzels in the frozen section of your grocery store…they are pretty good…

Great idea on a local brew.  Yuengling or Flying Fish or Victory would all be great!  I also LOVE Bluecoat gin, which is crafted in Philly.

How about reusable fabric grocery bags to contain the goodies?

Other phillybrews: Yards (their brewery is on Delaware Ave) or Philadelphia Brewing Co, which is up in Fishtown.

The Foodery on 10th and Pine has an AMAZING single bottle beer selection, the guys there will be abel to help you find a perfect local beer for your bag (somethign more intresting than yards of yuengling) and they should be able to tell you where to get it by the case.  I am totally addicted to this place.

and you should go with UTZ chips not Herr’s  you Really can’t get UTZ anywhere else!

Good call on the Foodery… they’re great.  They also have another location on 2nd St in Northern Liberties.

Does anyone know where to go to get a good deal on Out of Town bags/boxes?  Also, is anyone else being charged by their hotel for having their Out of Town bags being distributed at the front desk??  I understand being charged if they were delivered to the rooms, but $1 a bag just for being handed to our guests upon being checked in?? REALLY?!

Uline.com has packaging materials, and might have cute bags or boxes in bulk.

And yup, that fee is pretty standard with most hotels!  Stinks, doesn’t it?

Are you printing maps of Center City? I was thinking of ordering some from the Chamber of Commerce to put in my bags.  I want free to .1 cent maps if possible!

Anyone have any ideas where to get stencils or stamps of the LOVE statue? I’ve been searching ETSY and can’t seem to find anything
