We had ours at the Black Sheep Pub on 17th Street.  They reserved the whole second floor for us, and we had it all night (even after dinner, when we invited visiting family and friends to join us for drinks).  The prices are very reasonable, especially if you go buffet style, and they have several bar options, from full open bar to a set bar tab limit, so you know exactly how much you’re going to spend before hand.  They were also very easy to work with.  Good luck!

A couple of my favorites in that price range, and they are both BYOS:

Radicchio- My favorite Italian in Philly- http://www.radicchio-cafe.com/

 Hope this helps!

We had our’s at La Viola Ouest (16th & Spruce), which is a reliably good Italian BYO in Center City.  We probably had 25 guests, and they gave us a price of $25pp plus tax and tip.  This included an appetizer, a main dish, and tea or coffee – we didn’t want dessert.  With dessert, it would have been $30pp plus tax and tip.

What about south Philly? We are thinking about having ours at Villa De Roma. SOOOO GOOD. You could maybe have it at Ralph’s or any of those Italian Resturants which are more fun than anything in Center City anyway…although not a swanky.  OR what about the Art Museum Area…they have Rembrandts or The London. I had my sister’s bridal shower at Rembrandts and it was awesome.
