We’re working on the same issue!  I’m so jealous that you’ll have such a great car from your uncle!  Our ceremony/reception is in the same place 5 minutes from the hotel, and it drives me nuts that I would have to pay a 3 hour minimum for most companies.  So our wedding party will probably just drive themselves to the venue, and I’m hoping to find something for Fiance and me, possibly just a nice rental car.

We actually got vans from budget! Not the most glamorous way to roll into the wedding,  but literally 1/5 of the price of renting a party bus. The grooms side is all from the mid west and staying at the marriott hotel by the philly airport.

We got a few of the guys who don’t drink to drive as well 🙂

I found that if you don’t hire an actual driver and get a family member to do it, you save a lot of money.

I actually got really good deals on transportation for my wedding.

For the bridal party, we used Limo Today- we got a white party bus to take the bridal party to the wedding venue (we had to do our pics before the wedding), and they could not have been nicer or more professional. The driver from Limo Today was EXTRMELY kind and courteous to me and everyone in the bridal party. They even upgraded my bus at the last minute, free of charge. I highly recommend them. http://www.limotoday.com/

We also used Philly Transportation LLC to shuttle our guests between the hotel and the venue. The buses are standard yellow school buses. They did two round trips each way, for $450.00. For Philly, that is remarkably cheap. We did a lot of research to find someone within our budget, and they were the least expensive. Their phone number is 215-842-1222.

Good luck!

I am pretty sure that we’re using a company in Delaware. We’re close enough that it works and so far, it appears that they’re way cheaper than anything in the Philly suburbs closer to the city.
