We have Sprint and we’re happy with them.  I’ve had AT&T and Tmobile in the past.  Tmobile was okay.  With AT&T, I had way too many dropped calls.

We have sprint and I’ve been pretty happy with them so far. We used to have AT&T and the call quality was absolutely terrible.

I had AT&T for a few years and at first it was great but then I started to really hate it. Terrible call quality, dropped calls, would randomly lose service. I have verizon and love it. I pretty much always have service and the call quality is great

I have a Sprint and its a love hate relationship.  I love it cause it’s so cheap – I pay $40 a month for 500 minutes (which I never reach cause it includes free sprint to sprint), unlimited data, text and picture mail.  I hate it cause I get awful reception at work…which should change soon when I move to a new site.

I have had both verizon and tmoble in the past and both were expensive but tmobile has much better customer service, verizon is just terrible. Currently I have virgin mobile(which runs on sprint’s network) and I love it I have had them for years now with no problem. The customer service is awesome. I pay $40 a month for unlimited data, text, email, pics, etc. and 1200 min and I have an android phone that I love and since it runs on the sprint network I get great coverage and data speed, not sure if you are interested in that or not but it is still technically sprint, just way cheaper. Good luck

We had T mobile in the past, and had way too many dropped calls to continue with them. With Sprint, we didn’t have great service in some areas (no bars).

I’m happy with my Verizon iPhone 4s now (had a Droid Incredible in the past and was happier with that actually, but the iPhone is okay), it’s pretty good. I feel like the dropped calls I get now are almost always due to the other person and the call quality is pretty good. As I said, I preferred the Droid over the iPhone, but either way you’re not going to lose.

I have Verizon and really like it.  I don’t have a smart phone yet but I don’t think I will need unlimited data on it.

I agree with others that you need to talk with people in your area.  I haven’t had a lot of problems with Verizon in my area but there are some ares that have horrible reception for one or the other.

We have Sprint Android phones. We love them. Unlimited messaging and data, no idea how many minutes. We’re actually on a family plan, Fiance and I, his mom, and then his mom’s best friend’s daughter (…lol), and I use the least minutes of all of us (I don’t see the bill anymore, but when I was on my own plan, I used maybe 15 minutes a month).

I’ve always had AT&T and I don’t have any problems with it. I think all wireless companies will have their strengths and weaknesses. My sister went from AT&T to now Verizon and she so regrets her decision.  She wants to switch back to AT&T when her contract is up. She said the dropped calls with Verizon is worse.  She doesn’t have a roll over plan like AT&T does so she is spending so much more for her plan.  I’m glad I stayed with AT&T.

It really depends on where you live and the coverage each company has there. In Boston, my iPhone with AT&T was amazing. In Berkeley where I now live, AT&T is ridiculously horrible, and Verizon is the clear winner.

Research the coverage maps of each company before choosing!

I’ve had Verizon for several years now and I have no complaints. The only time my phone doesn’t work is if I’m in a place where nobody’s phone works (aka, no cell tower).

We have unlimited messaging and data and I don’t remember how many minutes…our bill is (I think) $170/month for the two of us after the discount I get through my company. We both use our cell phones for everything (home, personal, work) so all in all, I don’t think it’s really that insane to pay. Also, I do get to expense part of my portion of the bill (on top of the discount) which helps a lot.

I have ATT and get great service everywhere except my own house! If possible, ask people intour neighborhood and ask what they have and how their service is.

We have Verizon and I have no complaints. BUT you should know they no longer offer unlimited data plans. They now do a tiered data plan. I’m grandfathered in because I had an unlimited plan before they stopped offering them, but this is something to think about depending on your data usage.
