Hey everyone! We are getting a photobooth for our wedding and having our guestbook be an album of photostrips. I was going to get metalic sharpies to use for guest to sign the book. For anyone that did something similar, how many sharpies did you go through on your wedding night? Is two enough?

krd2017 : I had 3 sharpies out, ~126 guests. It was plenty.

Another thing to remember is the size of the table/area where they will be signing. We did a poster guest book with two markers. The table was small, so no more than two could really sign at a time anyway. Don’t over think it. 2-3 is plenty.

I had four markers for my guest book, 175 people. But the important thing to consider is where the guest book will be displayed. If only 2 people can stand there, then two markers is plenty. Ours was displayed on a table where 3-4 people could stand at once, so we bought 4 markers.

I’d have 5-6 just in case one dries out or stops working or someone walks off with one, but I am always over thinking and very cautious.

We did had a canvas with our name and wedding date and photobook to sign. Along with instructions to sign both, we put out Sharpie pens and thick markers in 6 colors. It’s cool to see which colors were used most (silver and gold) and by having options of what to sign and lots of colors, we got a lot of signatures.
