- Wedding: January 2013
I waitressed for years and am usually an excellent tipper. However, I had a situation with our photo booth vendor that I’m feeling bad about. The story –
- The photobooth owner worked the booth. (They received 100% of the cost.)
- They put out a tip jar with a giant “tips” sign.
- They arrived late and fell through on one of my requests (that we had in writing)
At the end of the night they waited around me; I assume they were waiting on a tip. I just told them “thank you so much!” and walked away. They lingered some more and I ignored them.
I think I could of overlooked their mistakes if they hadn’t solicited tips from my guests. Yet I still feel bad…do you think they deserved a tip?
