- Wedding: October 2014
Soo we are thinking about having a fun extra thing for our guests at the wedding. I am debating on a photo booth, but the last 2 weekends we have had 2 different weddings, and at the first one they had a photo booth, SUPER FUN! but we noticed that it only got used alot right away but then after the first hour or 2 it just sat there and was used sparingly since everyone was dancing (exciting because it was our dj at this wedding and they rocked it!), but everyone was breaking out their cell phones on the dance floor snapping pictures and taking group photos at the table…..and there were some really fun photos from those cell phone pictures….
but this last wedding on Saturday, the bride had made an AWESOME photo game kind of like I-spy….and it WAS SOO MUCH FUN!, she put tons of disposable cameras everywhere, and made a list of pictures to try and get, all the picture lists at the 10 tables were varied, including things like, group picture of everyone at your table, picture of your favorite decoration piece….it was SOO MUCH FUN! and people didnt notice there wasnt a photo booth, everyone took the cameras around and were snapping shots during the dancing on the dance floor, I know there were some EPIC shots of the groomsmen “trying” to break dance, the cameras were everywhere! And people (some of our relatives), who would NEVER use a photobooth were playing with the cameras and taking silly pictures…..
so since we have incorporated a movie type theme into our reception we thought about making picture lists, and doing a Paparazi game…..putting cameras everywhere and seeing what happens and do that instead of splurging on the slightly out of our budget photo booth….
what do you ladies think, would you rather have a set photo booth, or cameras to take on the dance floor and around and snap photos of what you want…..with the option to go on a website and pic and choose whatever photos you wanted a copy of and the availability to get some prints of them…..
