This is my first proper post here on the bee, eek! I have made some replies but I want to be more active here and I’m so excited to talk everything weddingy with you all!
Anyway, getting to the topic of my post… My dear Daddy passed away 3 years ago and I really want to include him in my special day. So, I was looking at some nice necklaces on Amazon and came across this one and I really love it, because I can put a photo of my Daddy in and wear it close to my heart. What are your opinions? Is it dressy enough for a wedding? Would you wear it if you were a similar situation? Honest opinions please!

i love the idea.. honestly tho if it was me. i would not wear it as a necklace. i would wear it as a charm on a bracelet or anklet.. but only because my style is small simple necklaces or no necklace. I thnk if it suits your style then go for it
ive also seen brides put a pic in the bouquet etc.
my son passed away, and i always have angels with me as a reminder of him.. i have an angel pin my grandmother gave me and im having it sewn into my dress

My mom passed away seven years ago, and I wrapped a locket that my dad had given me with her picture in it around my bouquet. That way, she was with me throughout the day.

Thanks for your response ladies!
shaylynnmarie – I am so very sorry about your son 🙁 That was a beautiful way to include him at your wedding!
shosha1 – I’m sorry about your mom! I have seen many people put photos on their bouquet via Pinterest and I think it’s pretty cute! It’s definitely an idea. Thank you!
