I set up a sharing site on Shutterfly and it was incredible … my guests uploaded hundreds of photos! It was easy to use and it does what you need.

I tried Snapfish first because I already had an account there, but their sharing function wasn’t working. That was about three months ago, so I’m not sure if they’ve fixed it.

Most guests won’t bother with the CD’s or even know how to burn images to them. A website is definitely the way to go. Shutterfly Share confused me a bit at first but once I figured out how to use it, I think it will work well for this purpose.

I didn’t want to use a site that would require our guests to set up an account to upload pictures nor did I want to provide my guests with the login/password for an account directly in case some of the more technologically impaired guests accidentally deletes some photos, so I set up an account on Flickr.  Flickr has an “upload photos by e-mail” option.  Our guests can just e-mail their photos to an e-mail address provided by Flickr, the photos will be automatically uploaded to the Flickr account.

@thesejoys: that sounds like a great idea!  I just created an account on Flickr, but I can’t seem to find the “upload photos by email” option?  Could you point me to the right direction?
