I went to a wedding this past summer that sent out a link to Dropbox after. It seemed to work pretty well.

I use http://photago.com. You create an album an invite your guests. With the Photago app they can upload photos to the album from their phones but they can also upload photos tken with the digital camera on the web site. In that way you can collect all photos in one place.

@JCKB:  Is that a pay site?

@Pinkmoon:   Dropbox is a good idea

Anyone heard of  Wedpics? http://www.wedpics.com/home

Also, why did Picasa used to have a direct email upload & now they don’t?

@LucyLaLa: Photago is free up to 1GB photos per album. If you pay 19 euro ($25) you get 10GB storage. My friends used 3GB to there wedding. Here is the pricing info: http://photago.com/pricing.html.
