Photobooth, they are so much fun and provide entertainmnt to those who don’t dance.

I voted for photobooth, because I think it would be fun and I’ve never been to a wedding that had one. I have been to a wedding with a candy bar, and they ran out of candy before I could get any! That was disappointing. If you have a candy bar, make sure to have plenty of candy for everyone.

I can’t wait to see the hilarious pictures that are going to come from my photobooth.  So that’s my vote.  =)

I’m going to do a candy bar.  But also thought about a photo booth.  For those who are doing one..how are you doing it?  What kind of camera are you using, or are you having someone man it?

Photos last forever(ish), candy lasts a few minutes.

Photobooth; lasts way longer than a candy bar and to be honest, I dont even like candy that much.  But I’d love to have a ridiculous picture of me and my date/bride/friends.

@lionskitty:  Agree with this! Plus theres already so much food and cake and then you’re trying to stuff them with candy. Your guests will be too full to dance! I’m having a photo booth plus very heavy dinner plus a dessert bar and cake. That’s already more than enough 2 eat there.

We did both. I will say that I got more joy out of my photo booth than the candy bar that we provided. The photo booth company I went with provided aguestbook where guests put their print Out in and signed. It also print another copy for them to keep a day the end of the night I received a disc with all of the photos oN it.

I am actually going to upload all of the pictures to shutterfly and make a book with the photo booth pictures and use it as a coffee table book.

we are doing both. 🙂 I hope guests will have something to do during the cocktail hour.

Photo booth is definitely fun but it also cost a lot of money.  🙁

I’m not sure if this is in the budget, but I had two photographers (a married couple) and during the reception, the wife took photos of the party while the husband had set up a live-action photo booth.  He brought in a fabric back drop, I provided all kinds of props, and he took pictures of us in real time.  I’m not sure if it’d be more or less expensive to have this option though?

we are having both but I am more excited about the photobooth. It’s coming with tons of fun props and it prints out 2-4 photo prints per picture, so the guest keeps one, then glues in a album for us that they get to decorate with pretty sharpies and write cute messages, we also get a copy of the pictures on disc.  You can chose color or black and white before you take your picture. I  have been to weddings and we took so many pictures, and fit the whole bridal party inside and it was so much fun!

@mcarrizales:  I love photobooths so I will always vote for that! Plus I love having those pictures to put in albums or on the fridge. I’m going to eat the crap out of the candy and then be sad because it’s gone. Plus I could always grab a candy bar on my way home if I wanted

If you’re worried about the cost, definitely check groupon and livingsocial because sometimes they’ll have deals. Also look if you go to any bridal shows. We got a super awesome deal on a 4 hour photo booth rental at a bridal expo!
