I guess I don’t think of these as a favor esp since everyone doesn’t participate but on the other hand I don’t expect a favor at all. Maybe you can make a donation if you still wanted to do something but not have a useless item left on the tables.

This is exactly what I am doing. I think its nice because people get a pic that they can keep as a keepsake. I don’t think you need anything on top of it.

I was thinking of doing this as well. I wanted to do a photobooth but it is out of my price range. And on top of that I was having a difficult time figuring out favours. So I thought about the photobooth having a duel purpose. I love the idea!

(**I have since decided on favours with no photobooth… but I still think it is a good idea)

We are doing a photobooth and the pic will be the favor.

I think most couples see the photos from photobooths as a favor for their guest. It’s up to you if you want to do something else.  If you do, I’d do something edible.

Yeah, I think you can do that, but I don’t really understand the point of favours in general…

@SapphireSun: I agree. I didn’t want them… but FH insisted on having them… so we are now.

yeah I’ve been thinking about doing this as well.  I’ve been trying to decide if people would want to do one or not at my wedding.  I think once a few went and do it then others would follow.  I love the idea of doing it especially since I’m so big on photos anyways it’s great idea for me.

I was going to say, all you need to do is print up a pretty little card that can sit maybe on top of the place settings or something and says something cute and lets people know that’s the favor. I tend to be picky about favors (ie I hate when people don’t do them) but I think the photo booth is a great idea- people will want pics of themselves having fun more than they want some random glass coaster or other piece of crap. It’s sort of a new trend in weddings, I think moms just might not get it- i know mine was like “What on earth is a photobooth?” lol

Personally I’d like this as a favor more then just about anything else.  lol Maybe that’s just because I always end up being the family photographer and therefore am never in many if any pictures, so I’d enjoy this type of thing!

As another poster said, I don’t expect favors either, so ….  lol

i’m contemplating this as well. no one gives a crap about favors anyway, and at least this is personalized. go for it!

We had a photobooth at our wedding, where the guests got a copy of each of their pictures.  Then we also had Acrylic picture frames that the strips would fit into as well – which also doubled as our Place Cards!  I’ve included a picture below from the reception – wish I had some better pics, but the photographer didn’t take many of the Place Cards.

I’ve had so many positive comments/questions on these that I created an etsy listing to offer my services!  I’ll create your Place Cards for you & do all the work, so all you need to do is put them into the frames!  Or I can do it all:

Even if you don’t use my services for this, I think it’s a great idea and a good way to save money!
