i rented from partybooths.  they’re a nationwide photobooth rental and they’re pretty reasonably priced.  you can go to their website and check it out:  http://www.partybooths.com

i rented an 8 person booth with a 4.0mpx resolution camera with unlimited pictures for 6 hours for $1190.  they even printed our logo with our names and wedding date on them as well in color.  they doubled as everyone’s favors, and each picture that came out was a 4×6 size.   i really liked how the pictures came out, and it was so much fun!

just an fyi – for about 6 hours, we took about 1,050 pictures or so.  totally worth every penny!  haha.

These are the ones that I researched for my June 2008 wedding in the SF Bay Area:

Cheapest I could find: http://www.rentphotobooths.com/, starts at $600 w/o attendant

http://www.partybooths.com/info.htm, starts at $900

Good reviews on yelp: http://www.redcheese.com/, basic package $1400

http://www.thephotoboof.com/

Most expensive: http://www.photoworksinteractive.com/, starts at $1500

We used the last one.  I liked their stylist photobooth and the 6-pics on a strip.  They screwed up our custom logo, but when I complained afterwards their gave me $$ back.  The guy over there, Paul, is a talker and a big salesperson which may turn some people off.
