I’ve been spending way too much time (which could probably be more productively used on other things, heh) figuring out what we want for our photobooth and whether or not it is “worth” it.
While I’d really like a photobooth, we only have about 70 guests and am a little worried that it won’t be used to its full potential. Do you think there should be a minimum number of guests before considering renting a booth?
After struggling with my distaste for the bunchy curtain backgrounds in a lot of the enclosed photobooths, I found a vendor that offered open-air photobooths, where guests were photographed with silly props in front of a backdrop. Some of these set-ups work with a remote, but this particular company had someone actually manning the camera, and supposedly directing our guests to help get their creative juices flowing. We already have a photographer for the day. Is having someone man the photo”booth” redundant? On the plus side, this method seems to be cheaper than a traditional photobooth.
