My sister-in-law is getting married in Ireland and I am having trouble finding a wedding photographer in Ireland that is on par with some of the folks stateside. I know that have to be out there….
We’d also be willing to fly someone to Ireland but the budget with travel would be smaller. Anyone know someone looking to build a European destination portfolio?
Thanks in advance!

I just sent you a PM.
Where would this be in Ireland, I am sure cities such as Dublin or Cork would have a wider variety of photographers.

It is looking like Killarney, Ring of Kerry area….more details hopefully to follow!

Do you know if your sister has a date set yet? If we are available, we’re definitely interested in traveling to Ireland to cover the wedding.
Here are some European or US-based willing to travel to Europe photographers (like us!) listed in WPJA:

hey… I have friends that are wedding photographers (amazing) and they are always willing to travel, assuming everything is paid for of course. They are a husband and wife team. Check out their website and see what you think…. they went to Italy with another couple so I know they love to travel. Hope you find someone awesome!

My cousin got married in Kerry – she is born/raised there. I can ask her what photographer she used. I willl be there next week and can take a look at the pics too and can post the name/number after if I think the pics are worth it. Do you have an example of what style you like?

My photographer travels & has done a wedding in Ireland in the past. You can see pictures of that one if you click on feature. Good Luck!

If you decide you want to hire someone who is not local, you might look into photographers based in London, as there will be a large selection, and it’s much less expensive to pay for a trip from London than from the states. Flights to and from Ireland from the UK can be as little as £10 if you book in advance. Something to think about!
