We finally set our date for our wedding next year in Toronto! Now I am officially starting the whole planning process.
Just a couple of questions:
Can anyone recommend a good, and reasonably priced, photographer and D.J. in the Toronto (particularly Markham) area?

Sorry I did’t see this sooner. Congrats on setting a date.
As for photographers, we booked with Azure Blue. Our videographer, Studio 67, also have great pics. Both have varying packages and are willing to negotiate.

thank you, catlady! can I also ask if you are going with a DJ or band? I am looking for a DJ… do you know how much DJs normally run in the GTA? I live in the US right now, so I have no idea how much things are. Thank you!

Our venue has in house DJ services so we decided to go with them. (I think it’s always a good idea to work with vendors who have worked together) Anyways, we spent a bit more because we got the whole shebang. LOL, Fiance decided we *had* to have the fancy lights, dry ice, and confetti. We spent about $2100. We get two DJs in the package which will be great as one of them will act as the MC.
When my Future Sister-In-Law got married last year, I believe they got their DJ for around $750, maybe even less. They used Weddings by Wave and received a great package which included a limo and DJ services for a fraction of what we paid.
Good luck finding your DJ/band.
