(Closed) Photographer and Photo booth??

We did both at our wedding and I thought it worked well.  The photographer was more of a “documentarian” with shots I HAD to have…then the photobooth was more for fun.  It obviously got more fun as the liquor flowed…and some of those photobooth pics are my favorite ones of the reception.  Go for it!

Photobooths and photographers have two different functions and it would not be strange at all to have both.

Go for it! We had both at our wedding as well. It doesn’t clash with the photographer’s official role at all and everybody had so much fun in the booths…the best shots came from there as people were so unguarded.

@Linds808: This is a great idea and not weird at all!  The photobooth pictures are a little more personal, and also wedding favor for your guests!  You can even use them to make your guest book – have guests stick some of their pics in the book and sign!

We are doing both, my photographers said they love photo booths at weddings and always hop in for a pic 🙂

did you end up with both? I too am curious. I love the photobooth but at the same I have a photographer with backdrop setup. Was curious to see what you ended up doing?
