I’m so sorry this happened to you.  Have you talked to the company about some sort of reimbursement/refund?  Did you have an agreement or a list of things he was supposed to capture pictures of?  I’m really not sure how to proceed with this.  I hope that your guests were able to capture the moments that your photographer missed.  *HUGS*

Did the boss take the time to look at the pictures he took of your wedding? Who cares what he did at someone else’s wedding…

I hope guests took good pictures that you can cherish!

I’m sorry for your situation 🙁 Something similar happened with my sisters wedding, she ended up with barely any photo’s which is why for my wedding we made them write in the contract that we expect between 900-1500 photos per photographer. There is not much you can do it at this point that will truly make you feel “whole”, however you did mention you were not sure what you were expecting of your photographer – why? Did he charge a lower rate than others? What were your concerns initially?

Did you give the photographer a list of the photos you wanted him to take?

I’m sorry you don’t like your photos.  Since you knew there would lots of good locations for photos, did you point them out to him?  In other words, did you say “I want to take pictures with my girls in the garden” after he took them in your bridal room?  Hopefully the boss will be able to help your situation.

Was there a shot list?  Is there a reason you didn’t ask for pictures with your girls outside on the day of?  Sounds like there were some communication issues.

Would you be able to get dressed again and go back to the venue with your girls at no cost? Maybe you could suggest that as an option. I know that it will be a lot of work on your end and it won’t be your wedding day, but at least that way you could get something.
