I know I’m no supermodel, but Fiance is adorable, and we had some interesting photos…we just didn’t get blogged. I kind of feel hurt. I know it’s crazy, but I feel like we weren’t awesome enough to make the portfolio or something…Has anyone else NOT been blogged?

Are you sure you haven’t been blogged at all, or you just haven’t been blogged yet? 🙂
It took a good 2-3 months before we got featured on our photographer’s blog- she had to edit all the photos, and then she wanted to make sure we got the pictures on CD ourselves before she put them on the internet.

We weren’t blogged and our photog said he was super impressed with our session. He said he ususally gives 40 pics on a disc and we got 70 because we had so many good ones. Try not to let it bother you (: It’s not an indication that your photos aren’t gorgeous.

My brother’s engagement session wasn’t blogged either, but the photos were still great. Given the time that can go into a blog (writing the content, selecting/uploading photos, etc.), I can understand if a photographer wouldn’t blog every photo session they do.

I already have our pictures– we’re getting discs after the wedding with everything all together, but they sent me our edited pictures via Dropbox, and even included a compressed version of each to post on Facebook. I am “Facebook Friends” with them– I’ve followed their blog for years- so I don’t want to complain on FB about it…and I know they’re busy, but I don’t know how many e-sessions/weddings they book. Our photo shoot was the first week of November, I had the pictures back in a week or so, and they have been blogging shoots and weddings, just not ours.

A photographer can’t and won’t blog everyone. I honestly wouldn’t really worry about it.

Is it expected that all photo sessions get blogged? I mean wouldn’t that be a ton of blogs? Does your photographer add I at least a few new blogs each week? Because i think most photogs do at least one session each week so it would be a ton of blogs to do them all. I doubt it has anything to do with you or your photos. If you like the phots then that’s what really matters, right? Honestly, I assume most of the stuff i see online is staged with models and fake weddings.

I wasn’t blogged, facebooked, or websited :-… *shrug* I guess I’m over it at this point, still a little sad though, I thought our photos were ah-mazing

What does it mean to be blogged? Our photographer has a website but no blog. If he adds our pictures to the gallery is that being blogged?
Either way, don’t think we were blogged…again our photographer doesn’t have a blog. He did post our pics on his facebook page but I think that was for us…? Even though we already had been given all of our pics. Not sure.

I read a really good article about photographers and blogging featured here
this may not be your case, but interesting read in any case.

We weren’t blogged…I didn’t realize that it was such a sensation to be “blogged” about until I came to the WeddingBee. I was just happy that we enjoyed the session and the resulting photos! 🙂

Is it weird that I don’t want to get blogged? My engagement photos are next week and I don’t want strangers to see them. I’m just an oddball…

Our photos were taken in 3 spots- 1 at a local park, because I love the fall leaves and wanted to have a fall wedding, but we didn’t want to wait another year to get married. 2- the coffee shop where we “re-met”– it’s in the middle of downtown here, and was closed, so our shots are outside at the sign, etc. and 3- the local sports bar where we spend a lot (too much?) time cheering on FI’s beloved Atlanta Falcons. They post at least once or twice a week, and update on their FB page also. Maybe they’ll post something from the wedding. I just thought it would be nice to forward friends and family there to see some photos.
And no, @Khalessi3: LMAO- No, we actually are not including ANY of these in our wedding!
- mason jars
- wild flowers
- vintage suitcases
- stuffed initials
- distant mountains
- tea-length dresses
- hand-made signs
- and fields
