Quick question for you ladies… We hired a photographer over the summer for our June 09 wedding and arranged for our engagement session in July. The day before the original date for the session, I called to confirm with the photog, and he informed me that he had promised his daughter an outing that day and would we mind rescheduling. We were mildly irritated (tanning had been sprayed, haircuts had been had, etc) but agreed.
Flash forward a few weeks and our engagement photos. Photog promises to have the images up and going in one week. Three weeks later we get access to the pics online and we are totally disappointed. All of the pics look super posed and borderline cheesy. We were surprised because much of the work of theirs we had seen previously was very candid and "in the moment".
So our drama is where do we go from here? Do we ask for a "redo" on the e-session? Do we try to get out of our contract? We have 10 months before the wedding, so there is definitely time. Any help would beb GREATLY appreciated!!
