I am getting married in the east bay and I am on a tight budget. I am having trouble finding a good quality photographer for an amount I can afford. It seems like every photographer I look at, it cost around $4500. I am hoping to get a photographer for the full day but I understand if I am asking to much.
I would look to hear how much your photographer cost and also photo’s to see the quality. My ceremony and reception are will be held at the same venue in San Pablo(If you could see the venue you would understand why) so I am particularly intrested in northern california photographers but open to see all. I love looking at wedding and engagment photos! =]
Thanks for all your help

Try looking on wpja.
I spent $2,200 on my photographer but my friend used him for less hours and spent $400

@Carrielicious: we are on a budget too. my dream photographer is jerry yoon but he’s over our budget. he does have other photographers that work with him and have affordable packages. we went with ambrose and katharine. his blog site is http://www.blogjerry.com. i also contacted other photographers that were reasonably priced too. message me if you need anymore info hope this helps!

It took my longer to find our photog than it did to find the house we have purchased.
I’m in Seattle so I cannot help you, but I too was getting quotes for around 4k.
I ended up selecting a wonderful photog but for less hours (8 total) to make my budget of under 2k.
