(Closed) Photographer is preggers….should I change?

@KLP2010: Actually, a doctor or a nurse typically does go on light duty towards the end of pregnancy. I think she’s worried about the fact that nothing is predictable for her photographer’s pregnancy. What if she is on bedrest or ends up with hyperemesis?

@helenberrycrunch: Actually I wouldnt go as far as to say that most nurses go on light duty… in fact everyone ive known go right up until they deliver, unless there are extenuating circumstances in which they dont stay at all… but in a hospital theres pretty much no such thing as light duty you are in or youre out.  At least where I work…

I respect that the photographer might not feel comfortable climbing etc because shes preggo.  But Im not ok with potential missed shots because shes not up to it… and I would definitely NOT pay a second shooter because shes not capable.  Id say ditch her and move on.
